‘Bicylists – Riders of cruisers, vintage cruisers, muscle bikes, rat
rods and choppers are invited to check out a new cruiser club starting
up here in Albuquerque called Los Muertos Riders B.C. We’re meeting in
Old Town on Saturday, June 26 for an evening ride. The ride will start
at the Old Town Plaza and will leave no later than 7:00 pm. We will
make a loop and eventually end up downtown on Central Ave. Then, by
majority rule, we will stop for entertainment and beverages. All ages,
both individuals and families, are welcome. We will also talk about
future rides and recruiting new members.’

mark your calendars and get on your sunblock. it’s fixed gear mountain camping time again! saddle up your ghetto stallion and be prepared for the ride of your life…or next month anyhow.

4th of july weekend. ride up sat. then ride back sunday. make it as easy or hard as you want. ride all the way from burque or take the railrunner to 550 (936am). it’s not quite 60 miles to the vista linda campground from nob hill. limited car support for that bulky shit. oh yeah, there’s a liquorstore/subway 4 or 5 miles before the end.

i’m gonna work out the details of the campsite this week…hopefully there’s an open spot by the river? if not, i have the alternate hookup. i’ll update as i know. hit me up here or @ heyfixie@yahoo.com if you have any questions or anything positive to contribute. i’ve learned that there is no train service on sunday. if that’s a problem, you’re a fucking girl…hell i know girls that do this ride. i did this last year with a 49/17 ratio, no problem. i’ve recruited 2 matts so far. be the one that makes your momma proud.

santa fe bike polo is gankin’  the weds. night groove. be there to see it all go down. be @ the train station, catch the 525pm train north…you’ll arrive 5 minutes late. the last train out of santa fe is 930pm, dumps you off just before 11. perfecto.

The World Naked Bike Ride will take place in Santa Fe on Saturday, June 19th, 2010.
We are planning a body painting party to begin around 10:00 AM with the ride kicking off at Noon.
The ride will last about an hour with a post ride party to follow. Exact location and route still to be determined.

poker ride cool and breezy edition

saturday night the poker ride rides again. there were close to 25 people last time. it was weird though…i came rolling in around 910 and ran into poker ride elder, mister lawless. he said, “we’re it.” both of us get on the phone, each contacting one person. ’twas looking bleak. but then suddenly, right about 920, we were mob deep with friends and strangers (future friends).

that doesn’t mean show up @ 945, new mexilate. the technical meeting time is 9, but this is nm. meet at hidden park. they hid it from you. find it and ride (or meet @ gecko’s in nob hill around 830).

as the battle over who will hold the reins of control of critical mass rages on, another player beats the techies to the punch. will the spoke cards be handwritten also? be there on friday and watch the drama unfold…like a fuckin’ mexican soap opera. and what the hell is a robit anyhow?

start training now, there’s still time. the albuquerque century is almost here.

the ride has multiple choice entry fees. $55 for a single rider…$15 for a single rider that raises at least $150…free, all food stops provided by circle k and the cash in your pocket (these stops offer cerveza and water). helmet not required for the free ride.

kickoff for the 100 is 630am, this saturday, @ the embassy suites off lomas (look for bikes). maybe finish in time for the parade.
